Dicker Data are a large technology distribution business, with offices in Australia and New Zealand. They are known as the New Zealand ICT industry’s most trusted advisors, and pride themselves on enabling their reseller partners to achieve their full potential.
Justin Tye is the NZ Country Manager, whose role is to oversee the day to day operations of the NZ business, and ensure Dicker Data have the right resources and operating model in place to service the needs of their 180 staff and large customer base.
“Our business had recently gone through a merger, and we were looking for an office to accommodate all our staff under one roof. We decided to refit our existing office on the Auckland CBD fringe, but only had 49 car parks for the 90 staff who were entitled to one. So we needed a solution to share these parks to solve this problem.”
Justin learned about Flex Parking through a colleague, and after following up with some Google research decided to get in touch.
“We were looking for a product that was easy to use and implement, at a reasonable price and above all backed by great service. Once we went through the product demo, we realised Flex delivered to all of these requirements. The on-boarding team were super helpful and even accommodated some immediate changes that we needed to make the system work for our new flexible working model.”
With the team up and running quickly, it was a smooth start in the new offices, helped by the easy to use Flex Parking mobile app. People knew when they were in the office, and that they would have a car park. Any early days support required was easy to access, and now the system is largely self-service.
Flex always aims to add value to our customers, and a question we always ask is “By using Flex can you measure any time/cost/productivity savings?”
The answer to this for Dicker Data was a resounding…
